The Fortebet Real Stars Monthly award organizers have announced the February winners.At Kololo’s Lazio Restaurant on Tuesday, the winners received their prizes.
Denis Omedi, a striker for Kitara FC, defeated Joseph Dhata of NEC FC and Muhammad Shaban of KCCA FC to win the football.
To win the award, Omedi scored six goals in the Stanbic Uganda Cup and the league. His strong performances enabled Kitara FC to win the league title.
Emily Lekuru, who scored ninety points for her team Black Pearls, took up the rugby category medal. She won the honor ahead of Syrus Watum and Ivan Kirabo.
Douglas Mulalira won the February Kabaddi tournament after putting on a strong showing. Mulalira’s club record was 127 Rides Points
won the Champions League for Kabaddi in Uganda. He was also voted the Men’s category tournament MVP as a result of his contributions.
Rose Nankumba and Annet Kirembe were beaten to the gong by him.
After winning the Mbarara Rally championship, Jas Mangat and co-driver Enock Olinga’s rally squad took home the trophy in the world of motorsport.
They won the February award ahead of Hassan Alwi and Jonas Kansiime’s Rally team.
The primary sponsors, Jude Color Solutions and Fortebet, presented trophies and monetary prizes to the winners in each of the four categories.
