Kitara FC remains top of the UPL as SC villa and Vipers share spoils

Tuesday at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku saw a goalless draw between SC Villa and Vipers SC.

The two teams created many of scoring opportunities in the game, but they were unable to win.

During the second session, Yunus Sentamu gave the Vipers a good opportunity when he missed a wonderful cross from Milton Karisa.
Through their star player Patrick Jonah Kakande, SC Villa also had a chance. Although Abasi Kyeyune feed him nicely, the latter shot over the bar.

Vipers goalkeeper Jack Komakech denied Umar Lutalo’s attempt on a free kick.

By the final siren, the two teams had reached a standstill, with Vipers holding third place on the standings with 42 points and SC Villa in fourth place with 41 points.

But compared to Kitara FC, who lead the table, Vipers and SC Villa have played less games.

The Venoms’ next match is against Kitara FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Sunday, followed by a league match on April 19.
On the other side, SC Villa will next host Soltilo Bright Stars at Wankulukuku on April 21.
