David Obua and URA FC reportedly set to part ways

David Obua and URA FC. Word on the street has it that URA FC is planning to fire head coach David Obua, who is rumored to have lost the trust of the club board.
This publication has been informed by sources that Obua has passed the point of no return and that, regardless of the results of the upcoming games, the axe is ready to fall.

As a replacement for Obua, the tax collectors are now thinking of designating Alex Isabirye Musongola.

After Sam Timbe passed away in August of last year, David Obua was named URA FC’s new manager. This was at the beginning of this season, taking Fred Muhumuza’s place as an interim manager.

The former Uganda Cranes forward managed Lango Province in the 2022 FUFA Drum. Also in the Premier League, he served as assistant coach to George Nsimbe at Maroons FC

At the conclusion of this season, his contract with URA FC is set to expire.

With 31 points, URA FC is now mired in ninth place in the Uganda Premier League standings. pref_device=desktop&utm_source=theequatortimes_com&utm_medium=leaderboardHP&utm_campaign=january2024_week15#/app/offer/top
