Alex Isabirye set to be appointed URA FC coach

This website has learned that URA FC plans to officially announce Alex Isabirye as their new head coach.
David Obua, who was removed of his coaching responsibilities at the club in April, will be replaced by Isabirye.

Robert Mukasa, who was promoted to the position of interim coach until the end of the season, has been the club’s temporary manager.

Isabirye has not been in a relationship since leaving Express FC in March, and she is scheduled to return to the Tax Collectors.

He was the coach of URA’s 2011 league championship team, having played for the team as well.

Isabirye has won four Uganda Cups and two league championships as a head coach, one of which he shared with the Vipers last season.

In addition, he has played for BUL FC, Soana, Kyetume, Kirinya JSS, Buganda Province, and the legendary Horsed FC of Somalia.

His first priority will be getting the team back on track after a run of inconsistent performances recently.
