Ethiopian side St George set sight on SC Villa’s Umar Lutalo

Uganda Premier League team KCCA FC has entered the competition to sign offensive midfielder Umar Lutalo of SC Villa.
Given how uncertain his future at league champion SC Villa appears to be, Lutalo appears to be among the most sought-after midfield players in the Uganda Premier League this summer.

A serious wake-up call has apparently been sent to Ethiopian Giants St. George in the competition to sign Lutalo, as KCCA FC has apparently intensified its efforts.

With his contract set to expire this month, the attacker’s future at the record Uganda Premier League champions SC Villa is increasingly doubtful.

The team led by Abdallah Mubiru is looking for an attacking midfielder to help them reach their former glories.

This website is aware that SC Villa is still open to making an offer to extend Lutalo’s contract.

Lutalo has shown himself to be an important and versatile player during his three seasons with the league record champions, appearing in 54 league games and tallying 10 goals.

The former Aspire Academy player has good versatility as an offensive midfielder, left winger, and left back.

Umar Lutalo is now a member of Paul Put’s Uganda Cranes squad, which Paul Put selected to play Algeria and Botswana in the World Cup Qualifiers. Lutalo has also played for the national U20 Team, The Hippos.
