Massive exodus of players set to happen at Maroons FC

Maroons FC which plays in the Uganda Premier League, would likely lose the bulk of their important players during this transfer window.
This website is aware that more than a dozen players are probably going to depart the Luzira-based team.

Key players Fred Amaku, David Ndihabwe, Patrick Bayiga, Darius Ojok, Jacob Okao, Felix Okot, Abraham Tusubira, and Ronald Orombi, the longtime employee, are among those whose contracts are expiring.

Other players on the Luzira-based team without contracts include Solomon Walusimbi, Fredrick Kigozi, Innocent Biyiika, and Jackson Nunda.

Amaku, who scored 12 goals in the league the previous season and was Maroon FC top scorer, has an expiring contract. He came from Busoga United (formerly Kirinya Jinja SS) to join the club.

Hannington Ssebwalunyo, the team’s Most Valuable Player from the previous campaign, is on the verge of joining NEC FC.

With 41 points, the team led by Muhammad Senfuma came in seventh place in the Uganda Premier League standings the previous year.
