Amad deletes social media posts after Garnacho photo sparks backlash

Amad Diallo featured in Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-3 system against Chelsea, starting in the front three before moving to right wing-back as United held onto their lead.

After the match, the 23-year-old was spotted embracing Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho, who had remained on the bench for Enzo Maresca’s side. Amad later shared a photo with Garnacho, the two smiling and swapping shirts.

The post quickly drew criticism from some fans, who were unhappy about his show of support for the former United player following his controversial departure. Soon after, Amad deleted the picture along with all his Instagram posts and nearly all of his X (Twitter) activity, leaving just one post online.
