Here is the shocking VAR audio as Arsenal was getting robbed by Newcastle

Video Assistant Referee (VAR) officials have dominated the headlines after the controversial game between Arsenal and Newcastle. The Magpies controversially ended the Gunners unbeaten start to the season by a goal to nil.

However, many believe that this goal shouldn’t have stood for various reasons. First and foremost the ball looked to be over the line and outside.

In the VAR audio, it’s clear that they didn’t know how to determine the ball although they also said it looked to be outside as per the angle they had.

Then came the Joelinton push on Gabriel Magalhaes. According to the official, he said that Gabriel looks like he’s already falling down and it’s not conclusive to call it as a foul.

Shockingly they didn’t even bother to check the Anthony Gordon offside. When the VAR analysis team asked the officials to draw the lines, they said that it was too late as the game had already restarted.

Apparently all they did in this analysis was guesswork and didn’t have a say based on proof. Even after all this shoddy work, they said that they hope this audio doesn’t get released.

The aftermath of this game had Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta fuming over this unfortunate decision. He said that it’s embarrassing that it is happening in the best league in the world.

The PGMOL has now come out to slam the Arsenal boss and the club after statement from the Gunners backing the manager. It’s not the first time that VAR is ruining the game by making blatant and costly decisions in the Premier League.
