Barcelona Rally to Beat Real Oviedo 3-1

Barcelona came from behind to claim a 3-1 victory over Real Oviedo at the Estadio Carlos Tartiere, keeping pace with Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.

Hansi Flick’s side were tested early as Oviedo struck first, punishing a mistake from goalkeeper Joan Garcia when Alberto Reina intercepted his loose pass and scored from distance. Before that, Marcus Rashford twice forced saves from Aaron Escandell, while Raphinha hit the post.

Eric Garcia equalized early in the second half, reacting quickest to turn home after Ferran Torres’ effort hit the post. Substitute Robert Lewandowski then completed the turnaround with a header from Frenkie de Jong’s cross, the ball clipping the bar before crossing the line. Ronald Araujo added a third late on, heading in from Rashford’s corner.

The result leaves Barcelona within striking distance of leaders Real Madrid ahead of their clash with Real Sociedad this weekend.
